The Bengals announced that the legal name change of WR Chad Ocho Cinco, formerly known as Chad Johnson, “will be recognized by the [NFL] and the club.” The team will refer to him as Chad Ocho Cinco, and the Ocho Cinco surname “will be emblazoned on his game jersey in the team’s season opener Sunday” against the Ravens (SportsBusinessDaily.com).
Seriously? This might be the lamest sports story of 2008. Or maybe in the history of the universe.
