Clearly, someone doesn’t value their work visa.
Given the day that I’ve had, I thought it proper to treat myself to some delicious sushi for lunch. It’s a beautiful day out and I wanted to get out of the office for a while as well.
I arrived at this great place down the street to order my lunch combo of a tuna roll with a california roll. It has never failed, a real Asian makes up the rolls right there in front of you, with all the freshest ingredients, as you watch. I traipsed confidently up to the counter and confirmed my order on the paper menus piled by the register. I was greeted by a sweet little Asian girl who asked me my order. I started to point at my tasty raw selection and she stopped me mid-sashimi…
“Oh, I sorry. Sushi chef not in today. She back tomorrow.”
Thank the Lord Jesus above that I did not have a flame thrower, a sawed-off shotgun, ninja skills or an even slightly sharpened stick laying around because there would be no more Thai and Sushi Cuisine. Straight up. These muthafuckas must not want to keep their work visas because they did NOT just tell me they can’t make me any sushi!
On this day, of all days, to not have what I wanted to eat, when every other time I have ever been there they have been on the ball and totally scrumptious….it is an absolute travesty and I am still considering burning the miserable place down and acquiring some concubines.
In the meantime, while I pondered my decision whether or not to torch the place, I decided to settle for some drunken noodles and to leave peacefully without causing any carnage,a s necessary and justified as carnage was at the time.
…But I couldn’t leave before getting a picture of the place on the ol’ Crackberry and photoshopping it up with some serious FAIL before I continued my infuriating, suicidal afternoon.
